Capturing the delicate petals while whispering to the wind, “He loves me”, the sweet, dense, warm air in my lungs and the different textures that danced on my finger tips while walking through the field on a hot summer day

“DAY IN THE ORCHARD” – SERIES

Introducing the “Day in the Orchard Series”. This series began with a memory of wandering through fields on hot summer days. Picking daisies and pulling petals one by one, “he loves me, he loves me not,” the air thick and sweet in the heat.

That feeling stayed with me — not just the flowers, but the atmosphere of it.

The orchard came later, a natural extension of that same sense of summer. Warm air, ripening fruit, and the shift in light as the day moves on.

Each collection revisits that setting at a different time of day. The motifs remain familiar, but change in color, density, and energy — softer in the morning, warmer and more active in the afternoon, and more grounded in the evening.

Rather than creating separate collections, this series returns to the same place and lets you see the change.

Exploring the delicacy of the lovely lotus and trying to capture the quiet beauty of the hidden pond, untouched, where there looks like there’s a hint of tension on the surface of the water between the lotus, lily pads, the particles in between, and whatever lies beneath.

STILLWATER BLOOMS

The lotus draws me in for its delicate, yet seemingly perfect, structure. They seem to hover, barely touching the surface of the water. There’s a quiet tension in that balance, something steady and weightless at the same time.

Stillwater Bloom grew from that feeling, not just the flower itself, but the atmosphere around it. Stillwater, softened edges, and the sense that everything is held in place without force.

In this collection, I leaned into that balance between structure and ease. The motifs feel anchored, but never heavy. They repeat, but don’t overwhelm. There’s a calm rhythm running through it — something that settles rather than fills.

It’s a collection meant to live quietly in a space, across fabric, wallpaper, and paper — where the details reveal themselves over time rather than all at once.

Pattern play based on the intricate designs on actual butterflies, their movement and their environment. Lovely summer afternoons watching them dance between the flowers, breeze and floating seeds.

BLOOMS & BUTTERFLIES

I’ve always loved the quiet moments in the garden when the butterflies seem to dance with the flowers. Not the busy tending, not the weeding or planning — just the pause where everything feels light and alive.

Their patterned wings have always drawn me in. The detail, the delicacy, the way they feel ornamental and alive at the same time. In this collection, I leaned into that sense of decoration and movement — letting pattern echo pattern, letting motion soften structure.

Bloom & Butterflies was designed with everyday objects in mind. For the kinds of pieces that quietly live with you: fabric, paper goods, gift wrap, home accents. It carries the feeling of hot summer air, sweetness lingering, and the small in-between moments where I’m simply enjoying the garden instead of working in it.
